Asbestos management plans (AMP)
An asbestos management plan is required if asbestos is confirmed to be present within your non-domestic building in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012.
Our consultants can assist with the development of an Asbestos Management Plan (AMP) to ensure a clear and easily understandable plan exists which outlines:
- who is responsible for managing asbestos
- the asbestos register you have just made
- plans for work on asbestos materials
- the schedule for monitoring the materials’ condition; and
- telling people about your decisions.
The plan must identify who is responsible for what and must be easy to read, find and update.
A survey of the premises must be undertaken prior to the creation of an asbestos management plan to determine the presence of asbestos containing materials (ACMs).
Our consultants can also conduct a review of the audit of existing systems and offer advice on how to update, close gaps, or improve to ensure regulatory compliance and protect stakeholders from risk.
Planned Management, Remediation & Removal
Through consultation with you and your team, our priority assessments will help identify the materials with the highest risk ratings within your property and we will provide remedial suggestions with budget costs which will allow a programme of works to be considered. All our assessments are carried out in accordance with HSG227, ensuring the highest quality at all times.
