Asbestos Awareness Course
Acron were partnered with one of our clients in the marine industry and in conjunction with our client and the UK HSE, recognised the need for industry specific asbestos awareness training.
Due to Acron’s technical knowledge and industry experience, Acron took part in a “steering group” as the technical asbestos consultant to begin the process of developing an asbestos awareness course specific to the marine industry. The steering group was further represented by interested parties from within the industry including the Marine Accident Investigation Board (MAIB) and Nautilus International, amongst others.
The course was developed over a period of one year prior to release and has subsequently won the Gold award for a training video at the International Film and Video Festival, a credit to the hard work of all involved.
